I’m Holly, this is my new blog.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do this.  What do I have to say that anyone wants to read about?  But I like to share.  Maybe there is someone, or possibly multiple someones who will want to read what I have to say.  Maybe they’ll even like it!  Regardless, I decided to go for it, obviously.

Right, well my creative juices got me up early this morning with the sweet temptation of accomplishment.  After my morning coffee my to do list seemed easily attainable, but then I spent a few hours on Pinterest and focused on other people’s creativity in action.  It was motivation to get moving on my own list, so I did, and actually wrote out my to do list and started on it.  For the most part I think I did well, I might not have completed everything on it, but I worked on everything and finished a couple.  One item being this new adventure.

My next creative project is going to be a series of paintings, nothing earth shattering, but they should turn out well and hopefully make nice wall decoration and gifts.  I’ve always had the urge to paint.  I didn’t take any art classes past elementary school, but I always enjoyed art.  It really wasn’t until recently that I even attempted painting, and those few pieces were just for fun and ended up being gifts.  In reality most of my crafts turn into gifts.  I like to give people gifts.

I picked up “One Day” from the library today, and since I can never read just one book at a time, I’ve decided to read “The Art of Racing in the Rain” too.  It’s always fun starting a new book, the expectation, the possibilities, the excitement.  A new story to delve into, new people to meet, new lives to experience.  Oh, the joy of reading!  It’s no wonder I work at a book store.

My dog Max, has had a bad couple of days.  He’s feeling better today, after he got his monthly heartworm medicine, which is what I was hoping for.  He’s such a great dog, so sweet and loving.  Here are a couple of pictures of him.
